What we're growing

A sanctuary, a farm,
and a long exhale

Sagroyo is a private nature-based healing sanctuary taking root on rural, forested land in Northern California — a place designed, from the ground up, to give a few people back the pause that modern life keeps taking.

Quiet lodging tucked among the redwoods. A table set with what grew a few steps away. Hosted retreats that ask nothing of you but to slow down. A spa fed by the land, trails that lead to water, and the sound of a running creek never quite out of earshot. The built world is clustered lightly, with the great majority of the land left as living forest — intimate by design, and never crowded.

Rest & retreat

Intimate lodging and hosted wellness stays among the trees.

Regenerative farm

Gardens, orchard, apiary, and a botanical apothecary.

Water & spa

A natural swimming pond, sauna, and cold plunge.

Sagroyo mark The name

Sagroyo

“sacred stream”

Sagroyo means sacred streamsacred for the stillness this land gifts us to protect, and stream for the water that moves quietly through all of it.

It's the whole thesis in a word: water and earth, the receptive and the still, redwood and creek over dry and hurried ground. We chose water because it is the oldest teacher we know — of how to soften, how to keep moving, and how to fill the low, quiet places.
